yes i relize that.. i thinks its ovious with a turbo kit that you will have to buy extra shit.

BlackJack 07-24-2008 12:03 AM

Look, aside from all the jibes everyone is giving you, why don't you post up some pics of everything that is included for the $900, and I can give you a good assessment of what will work and what won't....

At least that way you can get a general idea of how much more it would take.

Midgear 07-24-2008 12:04 AM

^^^ the turbo guru..

bryan213 07-24-2008 12:12 AM

that's one hell of a big chunk of scrap metal, and obviously came out of something where the car wasn't cared for or cleaned.

How about pics of the rest of the "rear manifold" ect. that you spoke of? I meant pics of everything included with the $900, not just the turbo.

thats because its a "baby turbo" and it just needs a "bottle" and it should be good to go

01oldsgls 07-24-2008 12:36 AM

a turbette if you will

WhiteV6 07-24-2008 01:55 AM

Its a T28. If you posted this on w-body.com, you would have people that can use it look at it. That won't do anyone here a bit of good, even rebuilt.

I was wondering why the inlet looked smaller than my wastegate dump.

Oldsnut 07-24-2008 03:07 AM

-5 HP on that little fella! What the hell is that gonna do?

cherrington17 07-24-2008 08:21 AM

could maybe use it to boost the output on your wiper fluid motor?

can you maybe put a turbo on your cabin air fan motor???

No a turbo kit is supposed to include everything. Hence "kit," not "plans."

AlbinoMonkeyRat 07-24-2008 09:23 AM

^ word. a turbo kit would include the snail and all the mounting hardware and all the pipes to reroute the exhaust. what you have is just a rusty snail.

edit: LMFAO at the pics on the thread. especially the bacon one.
