...medium sized cam.....def not a real lumper....not too shabby though....

Sloan92 02-07-2011 09:27 PM

this is one of those weekend warriors lol dont plan on drag racin this car. cruisin mostly but the cam is pretty radical for the 318 lol i might be able to pump out 12 miles to the gallon lol! i need a bigger torque converter though. She isnt pushin enough RPM's to spin the back tires, Its sad my rear ends got 4:10 gears but a lil sissy TC lol

here is the cam card for my fully built 225 waiting to be assembled....

kwhauck 02-07-2011 09:37 PM

good looking car for a dodge, that thing needs to see the strip and if its a weekend car, you don't need to put meats on the back!

Sloan92 02-07-2011 09:38 PM

that should make ur 3.4 sound like a v8! lol

Sloan92 02-07-2011 09:39 PM

ive ran it at the track once did 13.68 cant complain for a lil 318 with minimal performance addons

notice the cubic inches......3.7, not a 3.4

Sloan92 02-07-2011 09:42 PM

i mustve misread it i seen 3.4 i assumed it was for your alero. Wait what car you droppin this in? as i dont think they've made a stroker kit for a 3.4...LOL (joke)

Sloan92 02-07-2011 09:43 PM

i don't know alot about these newer cars ive been raised around classic mopars.

kwhauck 02-07-2011 09:44 PM

yes the alero, custom stroker......

Sloan92 02-07-2011 09:44 PM

who made your stroker kit?

kwhauck 02-07-2011 09:47 PM

a stroker can be ground down from a 3500 crank, this one is from jbody performance but will have to be checked and then checked again, because they have gotten some bad rep...

i was thinkin of gettin a stroker kit for the 318 and making it a 390 if i was too ever make it a full out race car. it would run on race gas though

Sloan92 02-07-2011 09:58 PM

my dad's runnin a plymouth duster with a 440 big block, with a tunnel ram, tti ceramic headers like mine cept for a 440 obviously, forged internals comp cam, roller rockers (forgot which brand) and a beefed up rack and pinion because this things broken a few rear ends.

03Sleepr 02-07-2011 10:13 PM

I got my springs from Ebay (be careful) and struts from summit. If your going to get bigger rims it NEEDS to be lowered IMO. there is way to much wheel gap on stock Aleros and it looks terrible. I'm only on stockers because I'm poor folk and cant afford new rims right now.

also, what engine do you have? and what exhaust are you wanting to run? just out of curiosity.

Thats a great looking car (and I'm a die-hard GM guy) but at least your other car isn't foreign..Looking forward to more updates on both cars

jhubbz 02-10-2011 03:49 PM

falloutboy 02-10-2011 04:07 PM

Finally I found the guy again, who painted his camaro seats.

See here, starting post 48 till bottom of page
This looks nice, but how does it feel, how does it hold up to daily ab/use?
