PFYC Speedbuilt Swaybar Group Buy
 

As the title states, this is another Speedbuilt swaybar group buy.

I've been back and forth for the past couple weeks with Brian from PFYC and just recieved an e-mail from him yesterday stating...






So, I don't know how likely this is, but I know of a few people that had missed out on the last one (including myself) and maybe some new members that may also be interested.

As for the terms Brian had stated that they will be similar to the last group buy, which I will post for those of you that don't know them.

1. At least 20 people committed to buy a SET.

2. A 50% NON REFUNDABLE deposit is required, unless the required amout of deposits is met. Then refunds will be done, minus 5%.

3. If someone that has made a deposit changes their mind, it is up to them to find someone to take their spot.

4. Once they have recieved the 20 deposits they will place the order.

Price for the set was 279.99 plus additional shipping the last group buy. Should be the same this time around.

no way! its brand new and powder coated! my goal is to throw it on before ASS. (which shouldnt be a problem) got em with new stainless bolts off a gagt member for 340$. just gotta get metal gaskets and other stuff to do it.

You will NOT get all the people you need on here.....it was CLOSE last group buy. DEF have to post on the other forums. Good luck. These group buys usually don't work out too well...a lot of work/time involved

As of right now It's on five forums, two just today. So I'm hoping it will turn out, but I'm aware of the possibility of it not working out.

The biggest thing is that it is an expensive purchase...if I could get the extra money available then I would jump on it and I am sure I am sure my friends would likely be interested if they had the extra cash but as of right now I don't see either of us being able to be a part of it.

I'll keep things updated as they progress, this way if some are interested, but don't have to money atm, could still keep an interest.

Well obviously it's not going through right now....you and your friends have time to save up so tell them! BTW everyone says what you just said....if i had the extra money i would do it and then they end up not buying cause they don't have the money 5 months later. This WILL be a long process if you guys are serious....so start stashing away $50 every pay day and by the time it comes around you will have the dough. BOOM! ;)

Put me down for a set! this time I wont find any poles and have to give someone my spot though :lol: how many we got so far? and has this been up on ga and gagt forms? I know there are some guys over there who were still wanting some.

yes its on like 5 sites. total of around 6-7 people so far are interested (out of the 20 needed)

we shall see, still have other things ahead of it that are more necessary and I don't have a paycheck right now...still need to replace all struts and mounts at the very least...Also thinking it would be a good idea to replace my water pump since it is internal and has 161k on it, which the fact that it is internal will make it more expensive to replace...service tranny, needs new tires, you can only spend so much at a time...I will see what I can do but every time I think I can afford to get ahead on the list something more important seems to want to break...I also have my 65' tbird to get done because my dad is getting irritated that it is still taking up space in his shop...I can go a lot farther if I manage to get a school job next year we will have to see

for all you guys that are iffy on these. i bought a set last year and all i can say is holy eff, these are beefy and awesome

my car has 145000 miles on it, original struts. i but these bars and and even with my wore out struts, the car has no body roll. so sexy

well worth the $300 for them... so worth it

Damn This Is Happening Fast

6 of those are maybe's that have to become yes's before it can go through, being one of those maybe's I am not ready for it financially yet

I know!! I'm going to be able to build a whole new car with all the parts I'll have sitting around! Hope this can go though, I had to give up my spot last time when that telephone pole jumped out infront of me. If this doesnt start happening till summer though I would be perfectly ok with that. funds will be more readily available then.

It's moving a lot faster than I thought too and three of those maybes are basically yes, I just didn't want to put them in as for sure until I got a solid answer.
