I just bought a car
I bought this 1999 Alero sedan 4cyl for 600 dollars. It is running mint from what I'm told, only had one owner before this and the guy only got rid of it because his wife passed away and she was the owner of the car. It has 116xxx miles on it.
Anyway here it is Sorry for the bad pic, I just snapped one real quick when I brought it back to the shop, it's still on the flatbed lol It still isn't registered or insured yet because it's still the weekend, but once I get it on the road i will get better pics of it. The thing is though, I have no clue what I want to do with this car. I don't want it to look too flashy but at the same time I want it to look clean and nice. I really want to get rid of that "90s" look that it has. |
600 dollars is a steal!!!

My garage full of alero parts says otherwise... |
$600 is a grand Theft Auto charge! Nice find.
I refer to my previous comment on other thread about the 4 cyl motor and the year. |
Ah, the same color as mine! I'll take it off your hands for $800

Lol well I work junking cars and sometimes we come across cars like these because people don't want to go through the process of finding a new owner for it and just sell it for scrap. A lot of them make wicked good cars to have fun with on the track for spectator races and flagpole/demo races. :D Sometimes we just have to replace a part or two and get the car running good again to get a sweet profit on it.
It was actually bought by the person I work for and he paid 400 for it and then I paid him the 600 for it. I guess I will see how well it drives once I get it registered. |

Welcome to the site man! Post moar pics!

Very nice find. You want it clean? Get rid of the body moldings on the door....debadge it....lower it....put some black wheels on it and boom. You can also paint the chrome trim around the window black to match the wheels and if you wanna go crazy tint the windows....that color combo would look sweeeeet.

got rear ended by a suburban today in it :( she still drives perfectly though. I'm probably gonna spend a couple hundred of the insurance money to try and fix it and use the rest to buy a project car
|
Almost made it a month.
