Welcome to the site.

What do you want to do with the car? That's the first question we ask when someone plans to mod ;)

Welcome.

It's got a 3.4 V-6. Right now, I'm working on making sure it's mechanically sound. So far so good, but I'm thinking more cosmetic at the moment. Toying with the idea of running to the scrapyard to see if I can find a Grand Am hood with Ram-Air.

Ram Air does nothing at all. If you want to do a intake do a actual cold air intake.

and the hood doesn't have the same shape either

Yeah if you want a GA hood you will have to do a front end swap. And run GA headlights. Not worth it really. The alero looks better then the GA imo.

Welcome to the site.

Thanks for the insight. I may swap the nose just because it doesn't look right. I bought it as a salvage title and will go back to a stock nose anyway.

You will need to change fenders, hood, bumper, headlights and header panel, and probably bumper support. Have fun.

Rommicp 09-19-2014 03:33 AM

This is what I'm working with at the moment.

You can start with cleaning headlights and clear corners. Give it a good bath then find a silver bumper and the hood looks repaint able.

Could very well be what I end up doing. Thanks.
