brights, low beams, turn signal, then in the area that is cleared a fourth connection is in there, what is it exactly? I'm just curious even though it might be a mindless question heh

I haven't really looked at the wiring, i just remember it and thought I'd ask

It's not a bulb really, metallic thing of sorts... fill in my blank here please

dopey 12-12-2003 01:52 AM

its high, low, parking lamp, turn signal

turn signal is waht ends up getting cleared.

brim 12-12-2003 01:59 AM

<hits himself in the head>

My bad.

You may also want to add that the 03 and 04 Alero's use the Low beam lights as the DRL's...99-2002 use the High beam.

Naich 12-12-2003 01:39 PM

you sure about that? I've never seen an alero with low beam DRLs...

I am 100% Positive.. I thought mine was messed up and I didn't think so either until I started paying attention to every other 03 and 04 Alero's. It even says it in the owners manual that the Low beams are used for the Daytime Running Lamps.

Molson 12-12-2003 03:16 PM

yes, 03 04 use low beam. No idea why they changed it.

Grouch 12-12-2003 03:57 PM

man, guess I'm gonna have to do some more creative editting on my pic. :lol:
