Teaser

Just a teaser...will have more pics shortly once the suspension, new taillights, tint is done. The kit took some work but I'm super happy with the outcome. Yes it's matte black and no I don't care if you don't like it.

Shaved the front and rear emblems for a smoother look...exhaust will be done this week....

Cheers

I want more pics. And didnt you just buy this kit? You seemed to have made the kit fit pretty fast....

When its finished I'll post plenty.

It's been about a month worth of work. I didn't find the fit that bad to be honest. The biggest pain was the rear bumper passenger side where it bowed out and of course extending the side skirts. I made sure to add glass to some of the thinner spots and added support pieces under the taillights. The rest wasn't bad, between myself and my body guy the kit wasn't to much of a pain.

plus this isn't my first build, nor the first kit I've had to do work on to fit, that helps a bit as well lol

Mock up

My other money whore..just for the hell of it

Looks good man! :-)

JD1 07-26-2015 08:44 PM

Lol thanks man, not like any of these pics are new to you lol

AleroB888 07-26-2015 10:38 PM

I think it already looks good, too.

Papa Rad17 07-27-2015 04:38 AM

Wow! Nice progress!

JD1 07-27-2015 08:24 AM

Thanks gents, I can't wait till all the rest of it comes together. The interior has some special touches as well but still missing some of the biggest pieces.

I think there was a lot of misconceptions with this kits fitment. To be honest my pre runner conversation kit fit worse then this and that is a mass produced bed sides and fender, hood, grille set. Yea it could have been better, but I've seen a hell of a lot worse. When it's all set a proper shoot will take place, have to slow down on the $$$$ spending on it for a bit have a pool, etc to add to the house.

tw0123 07-27-2015 09:28 AM

Hahaha yeah I've seen most of the pics already but just showing my support!

I know the feeling of doing everything at once, we're in the midst of house reno's as well lol

That01Olds 07-27-2015 05:15 PM

Looking good! Can't wait to see it when it's finished.

sleepyalero 07-27-2015 09:20 PM

X2 ^

JD1 07-29-2015 08:11 AM

Thanks gents....today's teaser, pic is a couple weeks old. Interior will be the seats you see, black carpet, black rear window deck with black carbon fiber pieces...the rest will be the stock colors and material

Just an idea of the interiors progress. Hard to believe I started this project June 20 2015...

The car looks great. I always like the alero. What's that interior?

JD1 07-29-2015 09:28 AM

Tan and black leather with diamond stitch with tan stitching.

tw0123 07-29-2015 11:45 AM

Lol i hate you for how fast yours is progressing vs my 3 year project lmao! :)

JD1 07-29-2015 11:52 AM

Lol, don't hate just get out there and do work...Can't wait till the stance is proper, between the lowering kit and Rotiforms should do the trick

That01Olds 07-29-2015 01:33 PM

No problem man and I'm digging those seats. They look pretty sweet.

richardg 07-30-2015 08:48 AM

I'm sorry, I meant where do you get it done - the interior? It looks great

The car came with this style seats but they needed to be re done so I sent them to my buddy who does upholstery. He did a great job making them right and tweaking some of the issues the original owner never decided to, like them actually fitting properly lol

That's going to turn some heads.
