hid issues

ive had hid's in my car for like a year and since i put them in they have worked fine at night time but during the day only the passenger light would flicker i cannot figure out what the problem is i switched all the hardware and it still does it on the passenger side which leads me to believe its something wrong with my car my voltage is good any ideas on what is wrong

I have a 2000.

The DRL (Daytime Running Lamps) use the hi beams but use a lower wattage to them.

My low Beams are not used until I turn my lights on or the car turns the lights on (from censor).

Im not sure if the newer Alero's used the hi's for DRL or not.

But I would look at this first.
