2016 Olds Homecoming Show
 

They date and location is set for you that are interested in going. It is the largest single day Oldsmobile show in the world. I highly recommend it. Swap meet is usually better than the OCA Nationals.

As of right now, I'm planing on making the trip, in the Volvo though. A lot of legal stuff going on right now that I really can't discuss. Unless something goes wrong with that, I should be there. I already have the time off

The volvoooooo wtf dude! Is this situation affecting the alero? Why cant the alero come??

Volvo (Turbo) is my DD now, the Alero is not. The Volvo needs it's AC fixed and I was dying last summer. More importantly, Adam was dying in the car last summer. My Mech will replace all the AC stuff, and the stuff will have a Lifetime warranty, for $900. Not bad for a car that the entire brand has a history of AC issues

The Alero needs tires. Priced them out at $500-$600 (Looking at Conti DWS 06 all seasons or the BFG's in the same catagory)

The Delta is still in the shop, probably looking at $1000+ to get it road worthy.

On top of all the legal stuff, house stuff, etc The Alero is going to have to take a back seat to all this. If it passes state inspection with the tires that are on there now, I'll probably wait until late November 2016 to replace them. They are pretty dry rotted and don't want to risk a 700 mile drive on them ;)

I wouldn't be the first one, and I won't be the last, to make the trip out in a non-Alero.

Plus Station Wagon action: Somebody could sit in the back and video the cars going to homecoming ;)

Unless on some outside chance I end up with a job near there, I probably won't be there. Even if I am I probably won't have an Alero at that point. I thought she was gonna leave me stranded Friday night.

I am always there! I am not sure if will bring the 70 CS. I should be able to bring the GLS. It's not going to the nationals this year. Probably taking the daily unless I find a good el-cheapo runner to take to Kingsport.

I could rent out one of my Aleros...but we all know what happens to rental cars ;)

Well we hang out the whole weekend at the Ramada in lansing, you are welcome to come join us, and on saturday we go to the homecoming show for a bit. Then come back to the hotel, eat, grab some beer goof off, just have a good time! Be cool if you made it.

I will swing in some time:coolio: I have to drop off a couple of Kubotas from my dealership for the show to use. And I have volunteered again for the H.C. committee. They wanted me for the swap meet, I said I can't head that position knowing several of the vendors personally, but would assist whomever heads that part of the show! So my Friday is looking booked??

Well like i said we will be there the whole weekend, thats where we do our meets at. Sleep, hang out. All that jazz.

Address is 7501 w saginaw hwy, lansing michigan. Just for future reference. Oldsnut (andy) will be there with his final 500 beauty. My car will be there, and a few others will arrive im sure.
