Low end power?
 

Well, as I already mentioned, I seemed to have lost a little low end power with my exhaust! The guy who did this said it was normal, becuase I opened up the back with Flomaster 80 and dual tips.... 2.5 inch. My car does not seem to accelerate as quick, especially freeway driving! He said taking of the resonator will not add performance....only make it louder..which I believe him!

So, what are some mods to regain low end torque! the chrome intakes off ebay says it will improve bottom end....skeptical though! Besides that....is there anything else that will not cost a butload of cash!

DHP PCM, $100. It will help. But it seems as you start modding these engines you lose low end power. I noticed a slight gain on the bottom with ported uim lim and heads. But that would cost you a lot. Not much you can do about it except boost.

2.25 would have been fine....


You have a cold air intake? if so switch up to warm air intake can help a little.

WAI is better for low end CAI is better for top end
