S&S Headers
 

Ok, so I ordered them a while back, and still haven't gotten them. Last I heard about two weeks ago, the customer support lady replied to my email saying that the headers were being sent to "Jet Hot" to be ceramic coated, and that it would take 7 - 10 days. Well... having bought them on the 15th of October, I'm just a bit worried. Anyone else bought from them and have experience ? What should I do ?

i wouldnt worry just yet. its only been 2 weeks.

jet hot can take time but its soo worth it

I guess. I just wanna see if anyone who has them got them sooner or anything. Maybe im impatient lol

7-10 business days for turnaround... so that's potentially 2 weeks at JET-HOT...

JET-HOT coatings are awesome.

they don't actually do the coating there. I had some done and it was a few weeks.

It took me a few weeks to get mine.....just be patient. Their worth the wait ;)

Ok they shipped. What kind of locking header bolts should I get ? Links appreciated :P

They come with everything you need to install them (except for the gaskets)

That's quite vague... What size / brand etc ?

Oh well that works I guess. They won't leak eventually?

Well, the headers and catalytic converter came today. The coating on the headers looks especially nice too. Heres some pics, and sorry theyre huge lol:

arent they so sexy!!! and the best part is that they will always look like that.....they wont chance colors like a lot of other headers. Gotta love the ceramic coating! :)

I almost shed a tear as I pulled them out of the box. Now I just gotta wait for the locking bolts to come, and I gotta get the gaskets too I believe.

whitch gaskets are the best ones to get?

Don't think that stuff lasts forever. It will wear off after a few years, especially in areas with high heat.
