Pics Of Head Units
any1 have pictures of their stereos i want to see what i like better a regular radio or a double din please post pics if you have some!!! doesnt matter what radio.
I have seen a few aftermarket DD's and personally I think they're kinda ugly. I been looking at stereo stuff last week cause of my rear 6x9s. Then again it's all about personal taste. I like the stock look myself but many people prefer aftermarket.

This is my Clarion DXZ735MP My partners Kenwood KDC-MP338 |
Both of those installs look like shit no offense but... if that's what after market installs look like I'll keep my stock head unit thank you LOL.
wow, how old r u?! this isn't even your original post negolien. Thx for startin another negative post, this was for irondiezl3. I believe there is a children's forum you can go to if ur gonna act like one, negolien. SO irondiezl3, those pics r for YOUR post question.
the only one that looks like crap is the missing trim peice on the clarion. other than that they look like installed aftermarket radios to me. cant really help what the fitment kits look like.
thanks for the pics i like the idea of having the extra compartment but idk what my deal is i still think i want a double din i deffinantly think double dins r uglier but i dont like the dash kits for aleros for regular cd players well anyone have pics post em up. i like the kenwood pic by the way!! hmm anyone have a double din pic?
Hey BJT, where can you get that bin in the bottom of your partners radio? Does that come with the install kit ? I like it.
Hey 2f2f01, we got it from Bestbuy.
alerojack, ur right it does look like crap on the Clarion, I need to put the trim piece on, just couldn't find it when I installed it, but I got it now. Just to lazy now!:p
BJT thanks. I'm thinking of getting one pretty soon and the will looks nice. Thanks again.

Hey,
LOL whatever it's called freedom of speech as far as I know we still live in a democratic society. The first one sticks out like half an inch and the second one just looks wierd because it's not flush. I said no offense and gave my personal opinion on the install......no need for personal attacks there hun. |
Even with it missing a trim piece or sticking out a little, still beats the hell out of the ugly stock radio.
Does that look like shit too? Cause that big hunk of shits probably worth more than your car... :p |
Ryan that pic is big as hell...lol
dude its a cd player install,,,,it goes in one way. if it looks like shit to you then buy a new car..effing kids these days
ryan, it does look like shit. its sticking out like 3/16ths of an inch :rolleyes2:
 i'll update this one in a bit with a pic of mine.... (single din) Update: also, ryan, whats soo good about those? for that kinda price, it better cook me meals and keep the whole interior spotless. (doesn't look like it has lcd/navigation/etc fancy features of other high price point headunits) besides looking old fashioned, which i don't care for at all. |
Thats the 406... Thats not 1/4 the head unit the 4000 is...
The 4000 strangely enough run about $3200-$4K+ depending on the shop and if they wanted to deal. Oh ya, and that price was in 1996. Adjust for inflation... Were talking about a $6K+ CD deck. And my friends... If you ever have a chance at a 4000 combo and you have some interest, do NOT hesitate. |
