New Headunit Question
1 Attachment(s)
So today I bought a Brand new Alpine CDA 9886. I have a question about it though.
On the bottom there are 3 swtiches to switch from "NORM" to "EXT AP" I was wondering what these are for. Thanks for the help and here is a picture |
Those control whether it uses the internal amplifier/audio processor directly or not. Unless you also bought some other fancy Alpine gear - Leave Them Alone!
I have the Imprint sound shaping module whcich needs these switched, almost nothing else does... Highly recommended if you want REALLY good sound, along with an amp. Have fun! |
I did also buy an alpine 6 1/2 type R with a 4 channel 500 watt amp, 2 alpine type r 6x9's and a 1,000 watt alpine amp

Shoulda got the R's for those too. I like rockford, but ryan could talk shit about those too. |
It just amazes me how people cheap out on the speakers that make the biggest difference.
