Painted my alero
Someone told me to paint my alero, it was black before so I painted it white and left two black stripes:
   |
I kinda like it. Not too bad.
|
what happened to the burgundy alero? I saw one like this on kijiji for $800... was gonna grab it but the guy never replied back...
so really, whats the story behind this one? |
he didnt really paint his alero
|
i figured as much, just wondering if he bought another one, or if he just saw it cruising down the highway... i have seen his alero at a couple meets we have had now... lol if you look closely in the picture i submitted to your thread with my coupe, it is beside me lol!!
|
well idk if he did or not but that would just blow my mind to go from nice black to crappy white with stripes
|
lol it looks like the shot of the plasti dip stripes hahahahaha
|
Eh not for me, but it's about what you like not what I like and dislike. So if you like it stick with it.
|
Seen that one last week at Steeles & Dufferin in North York. Pulled up beside it and then cruised behind it for a bit.

i think black is hot. it shines more than white when its clean i think |
^ Yes it does I love my black alero!

Black is overrated and is a pain in the ass to keep clean and really nice......

just because the maintenance is too much for you, doesnt mean it is for others... |
Yeah, it's not my alero. I just saw it crusing down the highway and decided to take a picture of it. I've never seen an alero with strips before so lol.
|
thought so... didn't think you would change from the burgundy lol... especially after you bought the intrigue to match!!!
As for the black alero... its a pain... does look nice when clean, but too hard to maintain for sure, and to colour match... mine is 2 tone for sure hahaha... |
a few things i don like about black.
1. I have no problem maintaining a clean black car, I dislike black because if the body is not perfectly strait then it shows. 2. when your car is a deep black, then every other black piece of trim that has faded even the slightest bit will look like crap. 3. its generic, every person that wants a "cool" car picks black, just like every sports car is red. how original :rolleyes2: |
not bad. I like the rear, could have gone a bit lower on the front but the width and everything doesnt look to bad... rims, headlights, maybe a few other touches would really help set it off.
