Rain here all day yesterday, rain and snow expected here tomorrow. Today was sunny but cold with a high of 43 today (cold for here)

So I get to the track, Atco raceway, in Atco NJ, where the record is held for Redog's best 1/4 mile times and I see no activity. You can see the dragstrip from the main road. I see nothing. Empty pits, empty staging lanes, no cars on the 1/4 mile. This was at 10:45 this morning.

I'm thinking "Are they not open yet?" Pull in and the gates are closed and locked. 3 pick ups with 2 with enclosed trailers and a third was an open trailer with a really bad ass looking 72 Nova from New York (not exactly close) all sitting there. I pull in and the truck with the Nova is pulling a U turn. Then the 2 enclosed trailers leave. I'm the only car there. I call the tower on my cell thinking maybe there are opening in a few minutes (almost 11 at this time) and I did see 2 cars at the shack where they collect the money. I get this recording

We are sorry but due to the damp weather conditions today, Atco Raceway will be closed, and with the Forcast for Sunday, December 8th 2013 calling for a light coating to an inch of snow to be following by rain, Atco Raceway will be closed tomorrow as well. We will be open next weekend, December 14th and 15th for our final Test and Tune session for the season. Remember to buy your gifts cards now for a savings on next year's racing season. Good bye"

Drove an hour there to find out they were closed :cry: Not mad, just very sad. Can't go next weekend because I have plans with Adam. Hopefully they will be open a cold day in February or March.

Redog now sits in my garage. Hood open, CTek Battery tender hooked up, Sta-ble in the tank (5.75 ounces for the full 14.3 gallon tank) windows down, eBrake off, and all 4 tires inflated to 50 PSI
