New for me, old for some
Well I scored a pair of gagt mirrors today for only $25. I still need to clean them up a little but I love the new look (no more Mickey Mouse ears).
My driver side stock mirror needed to get replaced anyways so it was a nice upgrade. |
i gotta do this one day

same how do you take the stock ones off |
pull off the tweater sail with the door open, then remove 3 nuts. done deal
|
guess whos going to the junkyard tm
|
looks cool mang
|
It's really simple except if you have manual mirrors, fishing the cables can be a pain without pulling the door panel off but not too bad.
It's exactly like colonel6632 said, pull the tweater sail and 3 bolts and your good to replace. My passenger side was a little loose after replacing so I grabbed the foam from the stock mirror and doubled it up to make it a tighter fit, seems to work for now. |
I guess I'm weird, I only like those on aleros if they have a body kit... Do they look different in person then in the picture?

Agreed, to me they fit the rest ofthe curves of the car better. |

yeah i dont like how bulky the gagt mirrors look on aleros, just doesnt seem to fit the car well, but everyone has there own opinions on what looks good or not. :p |
i like them. do you have to modify them to fit an alero? for do they just bolt up?
|
Direct replacement.

Exactly how I feel. If they were more rounded, that would be a different story |
