Water Oulet Question

Is the water outlet supposed to have a gasket around the whole outlet or is it just that Oring? I had to change mine out and the damn thing is still leaking.

Just the o-ring....and i HATED fixing that part....the o ring we had was too small the other one was a little too big...ended up getting it in there but it was a PITA. You prob just gotta get a new o-ring...they tend to wear out. Unless what you "changed" was the o ring...then it may be a little too small or you just push that b*tch in there good.

Just the o-ring. I had no luck with any of the aftermarket replacement ones.

So I made a completely new one out of aluminum, that uses the entire surface to seal, with a big flat gasket. :)

This is a really old picture of the first prototype. It looks much better now but it's installed. Everything is welded now, all aluminum, every barb is a pushlock barb. It's nice.

Ion that thing is nice! How much did that thing cost to make?

The old water outlet was falling apart, the inside had chunks of plastic falling off and it basically had no o-ring. I hope those plastic parts don't damage anything else. I made a few trips taking the wife to work and leak is now gone. Maybe those plastic chunks plugged her up!
