That's bs... I'd be filing a claim against him if that was me... It keeps getting worse... I'm sorry you're having to deal with this man... If it's a spring maybe check any manual car you can find to see if you can make something work...

Papa Rad17 07-22-2016 12:55 AM

That's ridiculous he wont own up to it. Between all of your issues and the years of trouble getting Ryan's car done, he will never see a penny from me.

Unless you plan to hold the clutch up with your foot while your driving I would avoid it. If it's resting kept the clutch slightly disengaged over time the small bit of slip will cause premature wear and I would imagine a good amount of heat, which isn't good for anything.
Wouldn't want to risk that flywheel now would ya?

WTF, these issues all warrant an official sue against that company.
Better check with your local laws and lawyers, but here in Germany this would be a case for the court and a whole bunch of insurance and private automotive appraiser / adjusters.

Even that cable that hangs over your pedal is a safety hazard like hell.

Sooooo Milzy is no longer the go to guy for this type of shit?

Babyblue 07-26-2016 12:06 PM

Well after a few hours of trying to get bolts and fitting this clutch pedal back in and getting everything tight. Its back in. Went to go test drive her and eveything seems fine. Oh wait when I go to floor it and clutch in and out fast it stuck to the floor again. Luckly the spring didn't pop back out. But yeah had to take the whole clutch pedal assembly out.

Small claims court scheduled yet?? BBB report filed yet??

There's no excuse for this crap you're dealing with... He needs to be held accountable both financially and publicly...

So if I were to want to have custom headers for a 3.1 MPFI (precursor to the 3x00 engines) made, where would be a good place to go?

I'd talk to Ben at wot tech before even thinking of going to milzy...

Honestly for that I would try a local place. Like maybe a custom exhaust shop or a machine shop or performance shop. I got quotes before on my 2005 Lincoln ls with the 3.9v8(I know not even close to same car) and it wasn't that bad-about 1100$. Milzys 3400 are 900$ custom would be well over 1000$.

Oldsnut 07-30-2016 10:20 AM

Take those mats out of the car now or sell them to me. Do you know how difficult they are to come by?

All you guys that have been screwed by him need to contact BBB then sue his ass.

My area is ridiculous. People charge a high amount and do a shitty job. When I had my exhaust on my Camaro welded together, the dipshit switched my inlet and outlet together... I didn't notice it until I wondered why my tail pipes were not equal length. Turned out he effed that job up badly.

A year later I went to another shop to ask about making a catback for my 94 Cutlass and they told me $1500 to upgrade from 2.25 to 2.50 from the catback. Needless to say, I need to figure out how to bend pipe because I'm not with that.

01OhioAlero 07-30-2016 02:34 PM

Thats insane. My shop I got to for a 2.5 inch cat back mandrel bent for my alero its 300$ plus the cost of whatever muffler/resonator I want.

Yup. $300 is what I paid for a simple weld job and the dipshit couldn't get that right.
