Hey guys, I was thinking about getting the smoked ventshade headlight covers for my car, it would go well with my red n' black theme, with the wheels and all, but what do you guys think, keep the front of the car chrome, or get the ventshades and paint the grille black?
(if anyone is feeling in a nice mood, could someone maybey show what it would look like with photoshop?)

Come on now, you cleared your corners. Are you really gonna cover up all your hard work with those covers?

1WhiteOSV 08-15-2004 03:06 AM

ya dude.....if it was like mine (2-3hrs of work) for those clear corners, i'd say screw the headlight covers! Clear corners look much nicer anyway.

Illarin 08-15-2004 05:16 AM

The only color I think headlight covers look good on is black.

alerosmoke 08-15-2004 10:19 AM

those covers look gay, there are some cars here that look like stuff with those things. :smokin:

My car looks like crap with them on, i'll admit....but i've yet to get the time to clear my corners. Once the corners are cleared, my covers will likely stay in the trunk. B)

alright, now that I think of it, I havn't seen any I like, so I doubt that would change on my car, thanx for the oppinions.

yea, the black is so-so, but any other color of car just looks completely gay.

well what if the car has a damaged headlight, and is also sporting a black car bra?
my car is like that at the moment (stupid women drivers...someone ran into me into a parking lot and drove off :pissed: ), and I'm leaving the car bra on for sure, because it hides the damage, I figured the light covers would go well with the black bra.

That's what I'm going to do until I've got money to repair the front end...with a body kit that is.

yea i'm starting to not like the headlight covers either. especially since i got my silverstars so i've kinda tossed them into the junk closet. now i just gotta get someone to clear my corners.................... B)

Uh huh.

That reminds me, I still gotta finish up someone elses.

koruptid 08-15-2004 10:43 PM

you could do something along the lines of what i did

cutelilcntrygrl 08-15-2004 10:52 PM

those look good. i already failed at clearing mine once...i'd hate to see what the results would be if i tried doing that.

Daytona 08-16-2004 06:57 AM

I'd say keep the cleared corners clear. Looks cleaner and better than if you blacked out everything or even just the corners & the grill.

ptrudel 08-16-2004 08:21 AM

on a red car, keep the clear look man...koruptkid's look good, but i dunno...just looks too dark for the brightness of the red
