--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Okay... I've got too much time on my hands and I'm thinkin' about new springs and struts.

Here's the deal.... I don't want it lowered TOO much - just want to get rid of some of the wheel gap & get better handling. I think a 2" drop would be too much.

I don't want to have to worry about it bottoming out on Chicago potholes - or jarring the fillings out of my teeth.

I'm runnin' 17" wheels & 225/45/17 tires.

Recommendations?

I hear intrax give a give drop. But for handling go with eibach's.

I have Intrax, and I love them. They have settled a bit since the pic here...
The back is about the same, but the front is lower now.

He doesn't want a bone-jarring, teeth-rattling ride.....coilovers are a no-no.

Sounds like Eibachs are most suited to my needs. What about struts? KYB?

I have Springtech springs and KYB GR-2 struts. I like the ride and the drop, but if you don't want the drop and you want good quality, go with Eibach springs and KYB struts. I had Eibachs on my GA and the rode almost like stock.

he meant performance wise. Height is like a 1.5" drop. For the record, my Intrax ride is almost stock. I don't notice any difference in the front, but some of my friends who sat in the back seat said it was a little more rough over bumps.

so does the drop help with lessening the body roll?

ie. more drop less roll....
