-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Okay... I've got too much time on my hands and I'm thinkin' about new springs and struts. Here's the deal.... I don't want it lowered TOO much - just want to get rid of some of the wheel gap & get better handling. I think a 2" drop would be too much. I don't want to have to worry about it bottoming out on Chicago potholes - or jarring the fillings out of my teeth. I'm runnin' 17" wheels & 225/45/17 tires. Recommendations? _________________ If you don't like the way I'm driving... get the hell off the sidewalk Back to top alerov6 The Floridian Joined: 24 Aug 2002 Posts: 2760 Location: Orlando, Fl Posted: Sun Sep 21, 2003 10:08 pm Post subject: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I hear intrax give a give drop. But for handling go with eibach's. _________________ http://www.n-body.net/registry/alerov6/ Back to top Ak Racing GLS Member Joined: 16 Dec 2002 Posts: 496 Location: Alaska Posted: Sun Sep 21, 2003 10:30 pm Post subject: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eibach for the smallest lowering, but dude i love my springtech, they work perfect. _________________ It's all about Style 2000 Alero GLS Springtech Lowering Springs, Hella H.I.D. They have settled a bit since the pic here... The back is about the same, but the front is lower now. _________________ http://members.cardomain.com/naich 2001 Ruby Red GLS -Soon to be SC/T- w/ 18" Eagle 077's, Intrax Drop, SLP Catback, APOC CAI, 3 10" MTX Subs, Sirius Radio, True HID Conversion, and more on the way! I like the ride and the drop, but if you don't want the drop and you want good quality, go with Eibach springs and KYB struts. I had Eibachs on my GA and the rode almost like stock. _________________ Rick A. Height is like a 1.5" drop. For the record, my Intrax ride is almost stock. I don't notice any difference in the front, but some of my friends who sat in the back seat said it was a little more rough over bumps. _________________ http://members.cardomain.com/naich 2001 Ruby Red GLS -Soon to be SC/T- w/ 18" Eagle 077's, Intrax Drop, SLP Catback, APOC CAI, 3 10" MTX Subs, Sirius Radio, True HID Conversion, and more on the way!
