grand am mirrors

do they fit perfectley or do I have to do nething to make them fit.

cherrington17 10-02-2008 12:11 PM

the dual post ones?? fit perfectly.

just your mirror controls will be inverted (up is down, down is up) but thats nothing big.

I dont have electric mirrors, but couldn't you reverse your wires so it would work like it should (up = up, down = down)? Like i said, i dont have them and i have no idea how they are wired. So ignore me if its not the case.

cherrington17 10-02-2008 12:30 PM

you probably could. someone on the gagt side i think did a how to, for it. maybe it was a different site.

its definitely fixable, but its also quite easy to live with.

doubleN0alero 10-02-2008 12:40 PM

yeah its easy to rewire them, but even easier to just throw them on and deal with up being down and down being up...after awhile you get used to it.

Or just buy the manuals and save yourself the trouble. I mean, other than to fix them back after someone drives your car or washing your car, power mirrors aren't a necessity for daily driving. Think manuals are cheaper too

Yes, but with manuals, you would also have to buy the interior piece that would replace the tweeters...

That makes no sense. Does the GA have the adjusters there? The Alero doesn't.

My power mirrors died years ago. If my mirror gets moved, I simply roll down the window and adjust it.
