Rockauto - Powerstop brakes
 

Just installed a complete powerstop brake kit on my Alero last night. I was impressed with it, especially for the price. Calipers, pads, rotors shipped for $160. It sure is nice having front brakes again. I discovered 2 days ago that my calipers were seized and not working which makes me wonder how long I've been stopping on my drum brakes alone. The odd part is the brakes felt fine and being I'm a mechanic by trade this puzzles me. I wasn't having any issues stopping. Although the car really comes to a halt now. 205k on it and it keeps asking for more.

Good to know that powerstop make good brakes. I bought the parts for the F-body front brake upgrade and rear disc brake conversion. Mostly Powerstop parts. Have not installed them yet though.

I just got the daily drive factory replacement kit and it works good. I liked how the hardware was pre-installed onto the calipers so all I had to do was slap the pads in and install them.
