HID, DRL fix?
i have 55wat HIDs in may alero and the day time running lights only run at 80% and there full it only powers up one side headlight and its very dim but come night they work great 100% so i how can i fix it so my headlights work when my DRLs are on! please help

With the 03/04 the drl is the low beam and if i remember right you could just pull the drl relay and it will eliminate the drl function completely so you'd be able to manually turn on your lights during the day without issue. The auto lights should still function normally at night and it shouldn't throw any warning lights

What Tim said is correct^^^^^^^

yesterday when i was working on my car i found a fuse on the driver side dash pannel is that the one?

No the drl relay is in the fuse box under the hood

You just remove one of the tabs on the DRL relay. I can check which one for you tomorrow, I believe you need the relay to maintain other light functions but removing the one tab leaves everything functioning normal but with no drls.

Relay #22 the one to the right of the top left corner. Pin 87. I thought I had cut it, but upon removing, I discovered I just bent the tab, been that way for over a year. Should fix your problems!

reviving an old thread here I just built my own projector mod for an hid kit in my girls 04 alero went to disable drl and discovered her relay only have 4 pins one on each corner. Anyone know which would be the pin to remove in this setup?
