train horn question

im planning on getting a train horn kit here soon. need some help though on the horns..

any idea where i could mount these without cutting holes? and having them pretty well hidden and not hanging down to low?

Overall Dimensions: 13.75"L x 7"W x 6.5"H
Trumpet Lengths: 13.75", 11.5" & 9"
Trumpets Bell Width: 3.75"

if that helps any on where to put it. thanks guys!

Know alot have taken off the bumper and mounted there. I actually mounted on spare tire area just drilled holes since wasn't going to keep the horns that long

I have mine hidden here:

I never took any measurements, It's a bit snug since now I have dual Flowmasters. A lot of RTV and it doesn't leak at all. However I have my air set-up in the corner of the trunk now.

My buddy was selling his hirnblasters tank and viar 380 can ask if he's still selling it

Redog 01-09-2011 10:44 PM

Don't buy ebay crap

Buy it from a well know trusted company. That eBay stuff looks like it will save you a lot of money, but then you have to buy everything else to make it work.

Yeah u can ask pimp

Yeah u gotta buy the kit for 24$ for install

pimpalero2003 01-10-2011 12:48 AM

If so it'll be prolly 3-400

sleepyalero 01-10-2011 02:17 AM

Maybe lol I'm still looking around

FrankTheTank 01-10-2011 09:20 AM

the compressor on that ebay kit is garbage. if you're gonna buy a kit with a compressor you're gonna want something with a smaller viair like redog has.

sleepyalero 01-10-2011 10:17 AM

Thanks for advice anyone know a good kit for around 300? I Don't really want to spend 500 unless that's the only way to get a good kit?

FrankTheTank 01-10-2011 12:03 PM

here is a pretty good deal on everything you need except the horns. they also have some pretty cheap horns you could buy.
