The body kits available for the Oldsmobile Alero are as follows:

Razzi- $679 on 11/20/03 available from Partsforyourcar.com

Andy's Autosport Kato Style- $799 Preorder Price as of 11/20/03 available from Andy's

Also, some people are trying to get an OSV-style bodykit produced, but there has been no results so far as of 11/20/03.

Here are pics of the production version of the Andys kit...

I'm not going to promote their stuff, and I could get sued if I post a pic probably, so I won't. Someone else can, just don't hyperlink it off their site.

Andy's Autosport Kato Style...It says $899 on the site......

jturkey69 04-16-2004 03:14 AM

there are also different side skirts that can be used....carzytaxi37 and i have the grand am sc/t side skirts...his with grand am GT door ribs...mine without..pick your poison , but they are available at partsforyourcar.com under the grand am section, available seperatly from the front and rear ga package....here is a pic of mine without the door ribs...

jturkey69 04-16-2004 03:18 AM

another to show the sides...with these side skirts there is some minor trimming involved....by the door openings, there is enough material there(on the side skirts) to accept the removal of the offending area, and still have enough bonding area to stil stick to the fender/1/4 area

Crazytaxi's ribbed doors and "forbidden" bodykit

make sure ur ready to spend about 3k ok it

j-work 07-07-2004 12:37 PM

Silent... 3K? I thought that it was only like 1650 for the entire kit. Or doesn't it fit?

Pimpalero03 07-07-2004 12:44 PM

paint and install if u dont install it and to fix the warping on front bumper and that nice gap on the back bumper/1/4 panel.

if u got 3k, why don't u just jump in on the OSV kit?? it's the only real fitting kit for the alero...but that' just me i guess...

It's not just you, 2000. The OSV is the only kit that completely hits home with the original styling of the Alero. For example, on stock Aleros, the "indented" bodyline is made into the body of the car, as well as into the front and rear bumper.

But if you have the Andy

Or the "other"

The bodyline is wasted and loox out of place. But the OSV kit stays true to the original lines of the body, but still enhances it, which is what a real body kit is supposed to do.

ptrudel 07-11-2004 07:19 PM

don't get me wrong..the other kits are nice too..but the OSV is the only one, that, like u said, keeps the smooth body lines of the car

gabbybear 09-06-2004 09:15 PM

That last pic in sportalero's post, is that the OSV? or some other body kit or body style, cuz i like how that looks.

Yup, that is the OSV kit, custom-made for Oldsmobile's show cars and not available anywhere. Pity. :wah:

Hey guys and gals. Nice mods, they all look great. Few questions though.
#1 Are theses all we have to chose from?
#2 Links to the sites where we can purchase them?
The pic here is of the front end I'm most interested in. Can somebody please supply me with a link? Thanks B)
