Redog out of hiding!! 56K beware
Wonder why you haven’t see too many pics of Redog lately?
Redog’s been in hiding getting fixed up for ASS. Start off with something simple, like tucking the wires of the train horn And putting it on hinges for a better mounting And And what about that pesky hood chipping, car getting keyed, and a little bit of rust? And the rear bumper was effed up too Redog lost some weight: Getting primed and painted I had the underside of the hood painted and the fender rails painted too. These were never cleared at the factory The rear bumper took the most time and money |
Then off to the booth:
Painted: And out of the booth: Still something missing? Which brings us to the next item done: And I was told by 3 shops it couldn’t be done, but, |
But the pipes aren’t exactly perfect :(
Remember how bad my dash was? Well I fixed that too!! With a lot of glue and weight LOL!! Got some things powercoated Like my wiper arms: (Flat black) Front valve cover (Black Wrinkle) My intake piping (Mirror Red) New rear brake rotors centers in Silver (They rust) New FAZE gauge: (Oil Pressure) (It’s not hooked up yet, my mech has an idea on how to hook it up with a sender bracket and a stainless steel line. He thinks it’s too close to the header, and too much weight on the brass. Sounds really cool, and I will post pics later. This won’t be done until after ASS) I picked up this too: I painted it "black Satin" Still working on the sunroof trim, going to try flat black vinal around the edges Took the wheels off and took them to a self serve car wash, then waxed them inside out!! Came out between 80% to 95% clean inside. Repainted the caliper brackets on the front: And the center of the front rotor Now it’s ready for ASS ‘08 |
well played sir

haha even with my cablemodem it slowed my computer down dam .... i want the train horn..
|
I wish michigan wasn't so far away( and gas wasn't 4.25 a gal).
|
thats great, the exhaust is my favorite! i like the train horn too, on a different page, that made me think of this, my buddy has a big (old) ford 150 with i think 4 inches of lift, we are kinda hickish out here in this part of ohio, but it looks pretty sweet and is great for mudding, but i love the jeep better, any way he wants to find a way to put a fog horn in the bed. haha
|
nice work looks good.
can't you just hook the oil pressure gauge up where the stock sender is ? I swaped the stock sender with the autometer sender and done. |
very nicely done... could you maybe tell me how you went about fixing that peeling problem on the dash? as mines starting to come off like that as well. do i jsut pour glue all over the underside and press down?
|
Thats a clean ass ride...now i want a paint job
|
Thanks everybody

It hits the header, plus it's not a really a good idea to replace the stock unit. It controls something else that happens when you start the car, I don't remember what |
i like the train horn thats awesome. i used to drive a lancer with an oogha horn like the cars from back in the day people were always suprised when i blew it at them. i could only imagine the shock of a train horn.

thats how mines hooked up and it throws no codes, works fine, and runs no different at all. nice and clean. good job ken. does anyone else have a problem keeping their brakes from squeeking on the sliders w/ them painted? the grease won't stay on mine to save my life... |
Nice work, Kenny! Now I know why you couldn't afford to make the Delta run any quicker. Mind lending me $7K to do my Alero next?
|
