hi guys
i've owned a 2002 alero 2.2 ecotec for a few months now. 82k miles right now and there's been no troubles with it except for the ignition recall...my engine turned off in the middle of left-hand turn lane haha...
anyways, i'll probably begin to mod it...yea i know it's a four cylinder but it runs awesome. my first mod is most likely going to be new headers or a cold air intake, is that a good place to start? |
Welcome!
It is a fine place to start. Nobody is going to say anything to you about modding a 4 cyl alero. One of the fastest alero's on the site is a 2.4l ld9. The ecotec has the most aftermarket support for any motor in the car. Just do lots of research and planning before you built as it will save you money. |
Welcome! and yes, good place to start. Ecotec for the win!
