headers!

The only ones I have found for 3400's are from S&S headers inc. for 514.16 + 150 for ceramic coating... anyone know if I could get some them somewhere else for cheaper with about the same quality?

jabartram 01-02-2007 01:13 AM

search pacesetter

tcreek11 01-02-2007 01:33 AM

yeah ive been having the same problem since i have a 2003 3400 and all the pacesetters are 99-02. what is the difference in 2002 and 2003??? thanks

olds2race 01-02-2007 08:41 AM

I do Not believe there is a difference. Just the internalls are a bit different

olds2race 01-02-2007 08:44 AM

I installed a set of headers on my buddy's Grandaimmit GT and he got his for around $400.00. I just can't remember who made them.

sorrowfulkiller 01-02-2007 11:12 AM

I've only seen pacesetters for the 4 cylinders... I haven't seen any for the 3400's

Are there pacesetters for the 3400? and where could I find some?

Redog 01-02-2007 11:20 AM

I have the S&S, I like 'em

kwhauck 01-02-2007 02:47 PM

i like TOGs

burg03 01-02-2007 06:08 PM

which one is the best

kwhauck 01-02-2007 09:47 PM

if i remember right the sands headers netted more horsepower, but the TOG had a cleaner rpm curve and gain as well as a better torque number.......

i say TOG but you will have to find someone who is selling which your chances are slim to none.......

jabartram 01-02-2007 10:47 PM

i thought somebody on here ordered a set of pacesetter, or maybe it was another brand that has recently been found?

i will have my TOGs for sale in march or april.

hmm... I think I'll take you up on that if you are willing to sell them around that time... how much are you willing to sell them for?

Hi, I am new here, but I have had my Alero for a couple of years.
I am also looking for a set of headers for my 3.4.
As it is today it cannot breath at all. The stock manifolds looks like a drunken plumber have designed them.
My biggest problem to sort out this is that I am living in Sweden, an ocean away and Alero's are not the most common car here.
I would like to get hold of a set of either TOG or S&S. Every advice on where to buy them would be appreciated.
It might be that I will have to bend and weld them myself, but then I need to get templates from somewhere...

^^ You can try eBay and the S&S web page. TOG went out of business I believe
