Doing some engine work

So i have to get a bad lifter fixed on this 01 Alero i bought would it be a good idea to just have the LIM gasket replaced while im at it? This vehicle is for my wife i was thinking maybe doing PNP manifolds aswell dont know yet. Is there any other issues with the engine at 109k miles that i may want to look into?

you have to remove the LIM when you do lifters

Im not mechanically inclined i was just asking to see more or less how much im going to spend on gaskets. Everyone that is not mechanically inclined can get confused or get stuff wrong so the laughing was unnecessary and quite rude. This might have been common knowledge to you but to others it might not be.

WEll my advice would be to take my criticism as a sign to do a little reading. Your not going to want to tear into the motor if you don't know the commons like lifters running off of cam and having to pull li and HAVING to replace gasket. And if you bring it to a shop and ask that question your running into them taking advantage of you by saying o yea that would be best and charge you full labor for the li, and full labor for lifters, when really they should only charge for lifters. and your looking between 80-100 (average) for fel pro updated gasket set
