spray MAF censor= more MPG?
 

i heard of spraying the MAF censor with MAF cleaner on a car can increase the MPG, is that true with the alero?

I believe Ecotecs dont have MAF sensors. But, if a MAF equipped vehicle has a dirty sensor, I suppose it could help. I know that sometimes, when having a hard time with the sensor, a mere cleaning is pretty beneficial. (Or so I have heard from customers at my Autozone job)

The 2.2 does not use a MAF, but if the MAF is dirty cleaning usually helps. Replacing it works the best though.

You just clean the sensor, so it works more efficiently. Its like replacing your air filters for your A/C. You will get better air flow, and a lower electrical bill if you replace every few months vs once a year.

How did spraying the maf work out?
