older vs newer 3100
 

Hey guys.
I'm doing a LIMG on my friend's 3100 in his 99 Malibu.
Is it the same as the 2003 3400 in my car? The intake is the early style one. I've only worked on the newer smooth style upper intake engines. Only difference I can visually see is the older style intakes have 2 bolts per intake runner whereas the new one only have 1 bolt per intake runner.
