My take on a mesh grille
I wanted something there, but I wasn't a fan of the stainless or chrome mesh look. I think it looks great now... I tinted the fog lights to match.

I like it!

I think it looks good dude.

looks good. i had the aluminum mesh in mine, but now that ive got matte black wheels and headlight bezels, im gonna use that to match.

what did you use?

That's a very good question... my uncle decided to dump a whole roll of this off at my garage (he builds houses, so it's something for that). It had this mesh with a fabric attached to one side which I ripped off. |
ah, I can tell you it's likely one of two things - it's either for rain gutters (keeps leaves/trash out and just lets water in), or it's for home ventilation such as under eaves or roof overhangs etc.
Plastic or metal? |

Plastic.. I don't think it's for the gutters, because it came in a roll that's about 4x30 feet |
how did you attach it?

screws and zipties |
Did you pull the bumper?

Nope, put the front of the car in the air a little bit and got under it. Wasn't easy, took me about 30 minutes for the middle piece and an hour on each side to get it perfect. |
That looks fantastic, Exactly what I want to do (mentioned it on another thread where somebody put silver mesh in, that I thought it would look better black) I'm a fan of custom mods that still look possibly factory.
I might just go to home depot or lowes today. |
Subtle, cheap, functional, and pleasing to the eye. Did the same on mine. Swing and a hit matey!

Seems to look alright! Did a pretty good job of getting everything nice and straight. I prefer the black mesh to the aluminum mesh. Aluminum mesh, I find, tends to look a little out of place on an Alero.
