Possible suspension problem

Hi guys,

I have a 2003 green GLS 4 door v6, with a cool 279k on it and she still purrs like a kitten.

The problem I'm having is whenever I hit a small bump it shakes the whole car, and if I hit a bump going around a corner, it feels like the car does a jolt to the side. I'm pretty sure I need new shocks/struts, but I just wanted to know your opinion on what I should replace the front and back with? I was going to throw some quick struts on, I'm not going to have the car for much longer, maybe a year or two, but I'd like the ride quality back.

Any suggestions and places I can order parts from would be greatly appreciated guys.

Also a side note, would worn out shocks cause a squeal when I turn the wheel sharply to get into parking spots? My ps fluid is fine and full, no leaks.

Thanks!

If you arent in financial trouble now, you can get aftermarket struts/springs
and then when your done with the car sell them and get most your money back. That way you get better than oem quality suspension and you also end up losing less money in the end.

That's what I was thinking, I'm looking for opinions on which ones to get, and where to go to get them. What did you throw on yours?

Buy them from Summit, PFYC is overpriced ;)

thanks guys, gonna order the KYB's and Eibach springs, so tired of bouncing around all over the place, and a really rough ride through the city.

just make sure you order new front and rear strut mounts while your at it, they will get rid of any sqeualing in the front end as well. but stick with either monroe or moog mounts as kybs are junk

as we are talking about suspension refurbishment
what about bushings front and especially rear?
