i was trying to take my rims off to put on my factory rims back on and i can't get two of the nuts off the front driver side wheel :wtf:, this is the wheel that needs new wheel bearings also. any ideas????? :Noooo:

i had the same problem with both back tires if you can get the silver cap off the yellow nylon brushing underneeths is one size smaller then the silver cap can break those loose it shoudl come off but once you put it back on your gonna have to make sure you pop the silver covers back on really well.. the dealership i biught my car from f88ked up mine i had to break the driver side off casue the yellow brushing was melted to the lug nut i found out they used the air socket to tighten then covers when thier only suppoed to be finger tight... hope you dont have the same problem and hope that helps

yea how did you put them on? impact wrench? if so there is a chance you cross threaded them. might have to take a breaker bar to em.

thats funny.... but after i do get them off will it be hard to put wheel nuts on |
chances are that you will end up breaking the stud, thats what happened with mine anyways. from what i hear they arent too hard to replace, dealership charged me like $50.

should wait until i get my hub replaced? |
yea.. your new hub will have new lug studs included. So if u break em off now.. you'll have to replace em cuz u can't drive on 3.. 4 is ok to drive on, but 3 is too much of a risk especially our cars are heavy.
I'd say just wait. |
yea i would wait too
here's a pic of mine when it happened http://invision.aleromod.com/index.p...pic=3300&st=30 |
is there a how to on replacing the hub????
