says 2400 but cover says 3400 on it is i worth it to get it? |
Intake manifold is from a 99, but motor is reported as 2002. Very suspicious.
Only way to truly verify compression is to cc the pistons, which appear very stockish. Buyer beware. |
Offer him $200. It's a stock motor. 9.5:1 CR
|
He's asking $1200 for an incomplete motor with missing parts? I don't think so...you can do a 3500 swap for less than that.
|
look at the pistions in the box the edge looks bigger going into the middle where the ones in the block look smaller not going as far into the middle of the piston thats what i was trying to determin
|
I would avoid.

Its the angle..the pistons are exactly the same.. |
A fresh build would be worth the grand to me man... my 2cnts.
You take a fresh build like that, get milzy's turbo set up for it, and your rockin the crap out of a lot of cars out there and have something that is going to last a few years without worry. Id take this long before taking a used one complete that is really a "complete crap shoot" as to the real condition of it. Know what I mean man? |
id love to but no cash
