Fuel injector polarity
I've heard mixed things in reference to the polarity of fuel injectors. I'm putting new plugs on my wires and want to make certain that i put them in properly. I'll be doing the work tonight and need an answer as quick as possible. this is on a 2.4L. Thanks for your help

You can wire them either way and it will operate the same.
I've done it. |
thanks buddy. just wanted to make sure. do all of them need to be the same or anything?
i can get the polarity right if i knew which side of the GM supercharger injectors is supposed to be what |
The official way is terminal "A" is the grey (positive) and terminal "B" is the output from the PCM.
Cylinder 1=Black 2=Lt Grn/Blk 3=Pink/Blk 4=Lt Blu/Blk |

As long as each injector has the two colors going to it that Cliff mentioned above, they'll work, regardless whether the black is on one side or the other of the injector plug. |
sounds good guys. should have the car running right and inspected by the end of the week. haven't driven the car since 2006. inspection expired 2/07. lol

I agree with the above statement. |
the injectors are in. everything's running pretty well. thanks for your help guys. looks like my car's back on the road.
the only small issue i see is the trac off light is on. i'll have to look into that one. |
IAT, O2 sensor, ECT, etc. can turn it on. I don't remember what else but it usually sets a DTC too.

we'll be hooking it up to the computer to dial in the tune again. have to see what the results are then
