Got new wheels... Again!

Well the bbs wheels sold, and i found a great replacement. Just need wheel adapters for these... Got em for a steal. Tell me what you think!

I lilke them, they look like the Pegs in the Volvo community :D

sleepyalero 01-26-2015 09:04 PM

Haha well atleast you like them, :)

S8track16 01-26-2015 09:21 PM

I really like bronze rims, especially on the subaru blue color, black is nice as well.

tw0123 01-26-2015 09:22 PM

You already know my opinion on them ;)

Have you decided what you're going with for the adaptors?

sleepyalero 01-26-2015 09:38 PM

Adapters i have not thought of yet....

But thanks all for the positive remarks. This just makes me want the car to be back on the road more and more, cant wait to see these on the car... Already have tires on stand by for them too. Haha

They arent bad, but your bbs wheels looked about 10 times better imho. Your car, your choice though.

sleepyalero 01-26-2015 11:01 PM

Fair enough. Ive always liked 5 spoke wheels, and im curious how a bronze wheel on a black car will look.

Also the BBS wheels weighed in at 25.9 lbs a wheel without a tire. In an 18x8 wheel.

The TSW's, well they are 18x8 and weigh 19 lbs a wheel... Much better number.

Basically wanted to get a lighter wheel.

03glgold 01-26-2015 11:52 PM

I like 5 spokes too, but dont see aleros as a car that goes well with them. Especially if you are doing any racing I fully get the weight aspect.

Papa Rad17 01-27-2015 02:10 AM

When I finally get rims they will be 5 spoke, fits the alero very nicely. I will withhold any further comments until I see them on the car. Let us know on what you think of the quality of those TSW's. They are what I've been looking at as well.

strtrydr 01-27-2015 09:05 AM

I think those will look good on your car. IMO, bronze wheels only look good on three colors: White, Blue, and Black.

sleepyalero 01-27-2015 07:16 PM

I agree strydr. and good to see you here! Very rare you come around. Nice to see the older fellas who had the nice builds back in the day still stop by frequently. :)

Also, yeah i do some racing. 26 lb wheels are just a little rediculous on a car thats built/being built for speed. I think i made the right choice though. I have been very curious to see how bronze on black will look with the alero, i am quite excited to be honest.

I still browse the forums almost daily but I don't post that much. Never really been much for posting/replying unless I have something worthwhile to contribute.

I got MY first real start modding vehicles once I was a member on here when it was on the old forums (my old account was lost during migration. )

You're right though, there had been some nice builds happen on here. I have also made a couple good friends through here.

sleepyalero 01-27-2015 09:16 PM

Yeah i wish i was around sooner to see all the nice builds. :( now i can only reminisce on pics from the past, of cars sold, destroyed, or parted out at todays date. Or sold and havent been seen since. Very sad. :(

Indeed! on a side note- as soon as things warm up I still plan on coming to get the suspension. I feel like I'm driving a squeaky boat right now

tw0123 01-27-2015 09:58 PM

What suspension are you getting papa?

Nas Escobar 01-28-2015 01:33 AM

Those look nice! I've contemplated them for my Cutlass for a long long time. Just too pricey for me.
