Air intake

She was giving me a hard time starting so I wanted to check the air filter. Long story short, I broke my airbox cover at one of the screws. It was seized and in my efforts.. Yeah.

Its still on, just a little loose on the one corner, screwed in on all others. But this is a perfectly good scenario to replace the whole thing.

Part suggestions?

hmm, the cosmo or the chrome. That deep red looks nice too.

if cosmo wasnt 90 bucks it would be great to get.

spc2125 02-17-2012 08:16 PM

you could also just get a cone filter

PS. redog- the wheels you have on your alero are non existent. :( kazera doesnt make kz-r anymore. sad too because they look great on your car. hah

Hate to resurrect an old thread but will the intake listed earlier, linked below, fit in a '04 Alero w/ 2.2.

I got that but really wasn't the answer I was looking for...

03glgold 06-29-2012 10:19 PM

it will work...motor wise pretty much anything that will work on a cavalier or sunfire ecotec will work on the alero ecotec

DRM Racing 07-16-2012 12:12 PM

just get one off ebay for the ecotec. cavalier or alero. might even find one for the grand am a little cheaper.
