I've never cleaned an engine in any of my cars before so I thought I'd give it a shot. I used a citrus cleaner/degreaser because I wanted it to smell good while I was doing it :blush: I wiped everything down that I could reach with a paper towel, lol. All I can say is what an ugly-ass engine. :)





The hood insulation is ripped and stained and falling off and it looks like poop :glare:
Anyone wanna tell me where I can get a new one? I looked around and all I see is people thinking about getting a new one but never where they got one.

Next time you get that bored, let me know... my car could use a good cleaning :grin:

I thought about painting the valve cover the same blue I got for my calipers, but I dunno. I didn't realize it was a vital part and I won't be able to use the car with it off, so it'll have to wait til I have time off & no place to go.

I also thought about blue looming like yours but..... there's next to nothing to loom, LOL!

I just ripped the insulation off mine.. I think a few others have done the same as well

I saw that people said that, but I'm not riping it off til I have something to replace it with :grin: Plus I like the idea of putting an olds symbol on the new one.
