So yesterday my Service Vehicle Soon light comes on, and then last night i noticed that my gauges were not lit up, and the auto/parking/manual light controls were unresponsive at night time....perhaps its a blown fuse or something else? i checked the bulbs and they seem to be fine, except i havent had a chance to check the parking lamps yet. any help appreciated. thanks

Now that it is dark out...it seems that part of my DRL is the problem...my headlights are on, but the taillights are off, and only come on when i press the brake down....any pointers greatly appreciated...thanks!

there's a fuse up front under the hood to check out. you may have shorted your dash lights out. were you doing anything in there? or were you just normally driving?

ive already tried to replace the micro relays under the hood...it happened under normal driving conditions a couple days ago...no aftermarket wiring or anything

Have you noticed any corrosion or white looking substance on any of the fuses? Or rust?

no...actually i went to the junkyard and found a couple fuses that hadnt gotten weathered and were fine, and still didnt help (i changed both the DRL and headlamp microrelays)

i also checked the normal headlights and the bright lights, they were fine...but also my fog lights dont work either.

If you can swing a set of wiring schematics, it sounds like a ground to me. You have a serious issue on your hands because if it's a melted wire or something like that a fire could start. Good luck.

Well found out I had a blown parking lamp fuse...how the hell that affects the entire DRL system I have no clue...but anyway if anyone ever has trouble with their DRL lights then be sure to check all fuses and relays that have anything to do with lights, not just specific fuses or relays for DRL.

isn't that what i said? and guess where it is, under the hood.

well this problem reared its ugly head about 20 minutes ago...there must be a short or something because i tried a 20 amp fuse and it blew as well, and its only suppose to have a 15 amp fuse.....we shall see what the dealer says tomorrow or monday
