Totalled.........

so i had the cruise set at 70 and i fell asleep and went off the road. there was a woman who was behind me and was able to call the ambulance right away.

This is the only damage done to me

now here is the car

Old's Wife 06-21-2010 06:29 PM

Oh my goodness. Thank god you are ok. You are very lucky and your car can be replaced!

Sorry it happened to you.

cherrington17 06-21-2010 06:47 PM

hopefully you learned a valuable lesson.... even if your SLIGHTLY tired... DO NOT DRIVE.

glad you walked away relatively uninjured....

get another... do over.

...and i'll give the obligatory... "that'll buff out!"

rida125 06-21-2010 06:48 PM

yeah, and i am going to start wearing my seat belt now

pimpalero2003 06-21-2010 06:50 PM

Damn are pretty lucky couple stiches and broken wrist?

Vic28 06-21-2010 06:51 PM

are you serious all this and no seat belt????? you are very lucky, glad you are ok now.

rida125 06-21-2010 06:54 PM

yeah, well there was no broken bones. the wrapping is just covering up a huge chunk of skin that is missing

cherrington17 06-21-2010 07:01 PM

no seatbelt!? do you have a deathwish!?!?!?!??!

seriously.. you have no idea how close you were to dying. None.

PappaSmurf 06-21-2010 07:55 PM

And this is the EXACT reason I don't use cruise control! It allows you to become lazy and not pay as much attention.

alerogls001 06-21-2010 08:02 PM

Looks pretty brutal. Lucky for me, my cruise button wont stay down on its own. Guess I wont replace it after all.

lord2heart 06-21-2010 08:33 PM

damn dude, i dont understand how people fall asleep behind the wheel. its really hard for me to fall asleep while driving, so i guess that a plus for me :P

JLw7123 06-21-2010 09:00 PM

damn that sucks bro get another alero

Redog 06-21-2010 10:00 PM

OMG I'm glad your OK and it's amazing that you weren't killed since you were not wearing your seatbelt

heineck 06-21-2010 10:51 PM

effballs, ur lucky u didnt die! is a seatbelt really that hard to put on? like cherry sed NEVER drive if ur tired, glad ur ok but that was really stupid. thank god u didnt hit anybody

Runaboveit 06-21-2010 11:31 PM

Glad you're okay! Seriously though, you need to wear your seatbelt. I grew up in family where I was never told or asked to put my seat belt on. After going through drivers ed and seeing some nasty shit I kept a sticky note on my steering wheel for a week straight with seatbelt written on it. After that first week it became a natural motion.

whiterider00 06-22-2010 01:49 AM

ho
ly
shit!

like said before, glad youre relatively ok considering you should probly be dead since you werent wearing your seatbelt. hopefully you do now.

cavaliers60 06-22-2010 02:33 AM

Glad you're ok. Please do not drive when you are tired... Even just a little... You could have just as easily hit another vehicle and killed someone. This is not just towards you, but to everyone. And please wear a seatbelt... That's the #1 rule in my car, and anyone else's when I'm driving.

cavaliers60 06-22-2010 02:37 AM

To lighten the mood here a little.... I love the goatee mod on the car. :thumb:

lonnie 06-22-2010 09:02 AM

Glad you are OK dude and it looks like the speakers survived...LOL!

....and the keys came out unscathed.

ServO 06-22-2010 10:23 AM

Dude...were you out near Watertown off 7 where the detour is between 110 and 25? I had to run out there the other day to give a co-worker a lift to work, and those roundabouts are rediculous!
You are very lucky my friend! When I saw the first pic of you I was like OMG HE'S MISSING AN ARM!!!!

Let me know when you wanna start parting her out...I'll take the tail lights and whatever else we can pull off of it...I'm just East of you down 7 in Minnetonka.
I'm also interested in that key fob, and any old Transformer toys you may still have lying around from your childhood.

Glad your ok!
