Dream on son, dream on.

$30/hr is a bargain in my book. shops in NoVA charge around $100/hr.

You'd hate to see what I charge to tune then. The price goes up.

$30 an hour is a great deal. There is no dreaming, and many people have paid me to do more involved work at that price.

Considering lots of places charge between $35-90 an hour, I know I'm a bargain. I mean come on do you expect PepBoys to do your header install or trouble shoot your mistakes on your install or tune your ride?

One question. Would you pay someone else that same amount of money to do the same work that you already do yourself? Didn't think so.

Ghadsphi 05-14-2009 08:59 PM

Think what he means to say, is want him in your shop? PM him.

DOHC_tuner 05-27-2009 02:24 AM

Found some time to get some work done.

Project Quad 4 internal swap nearly complete. Interior management at 50% completion rate.....Black no logo bucket seats on the list remain.

And the heart awaiting its return with new goodies:thumb:

There's error in your comment. The thing is I KNOW how to do the work. I PAID for the tools that I'm using, which wasn't a cheap amount of change that was laying around.

that's about average TO PAY for a commercial mechanic. You have to figure insurance is a larger part of that cost than the labor. The mechanics themselves probably get $15- $30, depending on seniority and the company.
