thought since people keep asking about ecotec, we should throw in the Official GM race build book, covering everything from the different HP ranges to transmissions.

NOTE: some Links are the same as in havik's original post. There are also many other parts and Ecotec related sites out there. I will do my best to update this list as I continue to research and build my engine. Cavalier and J-Body parts will work with our engine other than the PCM reflash for the Gm Supercharger kit.

AleroDrime 04-15-2009 12:42 AM

links to how toos for the eco would be helpful

heineck 04-15-2009 03:19 AM

Seriously dood?

AbHeLlRaZoR 04-15-2009 12:48 PM

this is as good as it gets for how to, I'm not about to sit around writing a how to for everything but it would be fun tearing apart and rebuilding an ECOtec engine just to write up about it. http://www.haynes.com/products/sfID1.../productID/183

http://www.motionlabtuning.com/attac...ance_guide.pdf

falloutboy 04-17-2013 10:50 AM

Got any previous versions?

03glgold 04-17-2013 01:35 PM

no, but I could search for them why is that

falloutboy 04-17-2013 06:42 PM

why?
education, and something like this always nice to read.

Do u know if there are other GM own publications like this for other GM Products (whether it being car, engine, transmission specific)

And the official GM documents are always good to have. See my LA1 page for example.
Although our cars are built pretty recent, I kinda feel the urge to preserve the available data on them.
