Singer HO alt list

Hey all,

I recently asked for a list for my audio build and I thought I would share it with you. This is for the 3400 Alero.

Here is a list of all the 6 phase options I can build you

I have any of these options as a bolt in design for your application (all 6 phase hairpin style/ plug and play direct swap design).
MDL PRICE IDLE OUTPUT

180A $449 150A (200A peak)
240A $489 160A (260A peak)
275A $529 170A (310A peak)
320A $569 180A (340A peak)

All units come w/ a lifetime warranty that covers any repair labor (parts are at company cost) You can add a powder coating option on any order for an additional $48.

Go with iraggi alternators or mechman altenators.

If I wanted to do that I wouldn't have posted a singer thread lol thanks though.

Mine crapped out on me a few years ago and i had a guy with a 67 chevelle tell me to take it to "this lil old guy" he knew.... $150 later i had it rebuilt up to 200 amps.... i haven't had any issues going on 7 years later!

Yeah it's kind of a crap shoot to be honest * had some issues with his singer at first I guess it's running fine now. I had a buddy who's mechman was a fkin nightmare.

I couldn't find singer and Irragi though on there had 0 feedback. Mechman on the other hand...

I have a irragi alternator in my car and i love it. It was not cheap. But i would suggest doing the big three upgrade along with the high output alternator. What gauge wire are you going to be running for the amps and speaker wire.

If you're talking to me I have 0 gauge everything including the big 3 already and run a black powder coated DB 220 I got from a member here. I know a lot of people that dig the Singers not so many that like the mechman and know nobody that runs Iraggi. DB was ok but it only goes to 220. With the 2200 amp and my excelon I think I' am going to step up to the 320 just to make sure and have some head room for future proofing. I think the 270's are good for around what 2100 watts?

I got it because of my foglights and my sound system. I have 2 alpine type r 12 inch subs and a 1000 watt rms alpine amp. With rockford fosgate 0/2 gauge wire.

I'm not really up on power requirements etc but i know with my car I've been fine with the 200 amp alternator.... I'm currently running 3 audiobahn amps, 3 tv screens, a CD player, a dvd player, 2 12" subs and i haven't experienced any dimming of any lights.... i have since added a second battery and done the big 3 upgrade just to be safe but as i said it's been running strong in my eyes! :)

I did have issues with the Singer at first but it was mainly my fault. I bought the alternator from someone with a 2.2 cobalt. I contacted Mike Singer and hooked me up with the external regulator for the alero. I didn't install it so I sent it to him and he fixed it and upgraded parts for free. The warranty was transferrable, I only had to pay shipping one way.
