Lowering Springs Poll
I'll be in the market for lowering springs once tax returns come in and ive been having a lot of trouble which to choose.
This is basically what I want: Yes i want to lower and yes i want that aggressive look, BUT I care more about the performance/handling gains of it. I dont want to spend a few hundred bucks on just looks, I want something worth the money. Anyways, so tell me which you like and why give the pros and cons if you could as well Thanks! |
I voted H&R.
I started years ago with H&R, then tried Eibach and Intax. I returned back to H&R because they were the most well-rounded. Moderate lowering with a slightly raked stance, and a different ramp rate which seemed more comfotable in daily driving, but still benefitted handling. If you get beat up driving your car, you don't enjoy it asmuch. |

what do you mean by ramp rate? |

The Eibachs use a heavier spring steel, so they get stiffer more quickly as they are compressed. I have found the H&Rs to be a bit more forgiving at lower speeds, but when driven hard, they provide plenty of stiffness to enhance handling. |
i had h&r springs on my first alero for only 5 months before i got into a crash. I really liked them.
