J-body strut tower brace. Ive seen/heard they fit nbodys. Lies or truth?

sure would. i see a lot of cavaliers with really nice sturdy braces. then i look at what is available for the alero/grand am and i become sad.

if you search there is a lot of the jbody stbs listed as also being for the nbody...there is also a jbody stb for sale on gagt that someone had on their ga...you have to be careful though if you have 03.5-04 because they changed alternator setup putting it in the way of bars that go straight across

my alero is an 03 but has a 2000 engine which also has the old style alt. :) either that or its the stock engine and is just an early 03. IDK. the intake manifold is stamped 00. but i really would like to find out. im just not going to go buy one o find out it does not fit.
