Oversteer???

WTF??? Who has oversteer problems in a FWD car??? Not that I am really complaining, I would rather have oversteer than understeer, but really...wtf??? I get off the freeway last night at a 'brisk' pace and I have the back end slide out...then I went and 'autocrossed' through some cones in an empty parking lot and it does it sometime there also....hmmm...

jabartram 08-28-2006 11:00 PM

Alero2k4 08-28-2006 11:57 PM

Stock suspension

No, these tires don't suck....

Oh, and I had about 1/4 tank of gas still.

rearend may be to light. with my suspension modifications i have a 60lb speaker box that holds my rear end down it handles VERY well.

Yeah mine does that, but only in the snow.

Freaky as hell becuase you don't expect a FWD car to do that

Yeah, but with weight transfer, in snow, it is far less suprising, I was turning at a constant rate through a medium left hand corner and they broke loose:eek:

sounds like fun

i dont see how your trying to auto-x with stock susp. way to much body roll.

It's all about weight transfer...yes, it would be nice to have less body roll, but if you control the car well, it can still be tons of fun...:drunk:

I've got oversteer but on a dirt road only. It holds really well on the street even when I push it hard through corners.

mfuller 08-30-2006 12:01 AM

It's pretty easy to get lift-throtle oversteer.
When you feel the back end get loose, it's a hint to nail the gas and let the front tires pull you through. ***Don't practice this on the street***

AlbinoMonkeyRat 08-30-2006 12:14 AM

hehe...ever have so much body roll you get the both wheels on one side to get airborne? hehehe....

burg03 08-30-2006 12:46 PM

you are kinda on the crazy side of things
