i`ll 2nd the poping noise, its horrible i saw on easy street site that its still availble

I talked to Jeremy about 2 weeks ago. Not in production anymore. That's all I know. That, and all the distributors say they can't get em either.
|
I stopped giving updates because I've been busy working on it.
The rears worked out great! Little bit more work than a bolt on affair, but nothing ridiculous at all. I may even switch my fronts out with the same bags as the rear. Had to do some massaging of the inner wheel wells to do the rears, but not much. The fronts wouldn't even need any massaging to fit the universal air strut bags. Also used the top mounts from the rear easystreets to make it sit lower. It ended up being just right. I could take it about another inch lower but that's it without getting tricky I wish someone made some decent adjustable coilovers for our cars though. I'm gonna start looking into other makes models that have coilovers that may work. Anyways, |
Cool! Rear needs more drop though ;)
|
So damn sexy.
|
damn I love that car...
|
sniff sniff! I miss her. :(
Yea the rear isn't as low. Its like 1.5" lower with the rear easystrut strut bags. Still looks great tho! yay shes back on bags. |
i just got my RMA'd front set today, it took them REALLLLLLLLLLYYYY long to ship them out to me and i got nervous when u said they werent in production anymore, it was almost a 2 month turnaround for the RMA but atleast they threw in the whole front set for making me wait instead of just the struts
BTW what kind of struts are you using with the new bags? |
So you sent them back to easystreet and got a new set ot what?
For now the uas bags are on stock struts. Ill probably put some agx's on soon though |
yes they have a 1year warranty on the sets for some damages, so i sent the struts back for an RMA and got new 1s
|
Nice.
I wonder if I could get mine repaired... I don't think they really repair them at all. Since it's sealed to the strut body, I think they just replac em. |

I can probably take the rears down about another inch with no problem. I'm treating her very well. New alt and new battery. Mimiced the air setup you had in there pretty closely. I still may switch to the style of switchbox you had in there. Also looking to tie it into the remote fob. And possibly get a seperate controller with preset ride heights. |
yea thats what happened to mine and i sent them in as an RMA, u need proof of purchase or u just waste $40 shipping them to easystreet lol
you could try to RMA them in and when they get declined for not having proof of purchase you could say u need a replacement set then and try to budge them into selling the set like that. if you get the 7 switch switchbox style me and richie had there is actually a wire to dump all valves for an alarm trigger, you could hook that up to one of the channel on your SPAL brainbox and then just manually wire up a second relay for all corners tp fill for another channel on that brainbox aswell, as for the preset ride heights the only thing you can do is to buy a whole kit that does this, i believe the whole air management kit was like $700 and it has preset ride height and you dont need your dakota digital gauges or a switchbox so you would have already been wasting your money on stuff lol |

I am not a fan of cars low to the ground like that , it always look like the car suspension broke , to me it somehow look like a broken car
Same thing with really low profile tires the car look like it running on rims only not looking good to me , i like the tire to be flush to the fender but not under & i like to see a little bit of rubbers i wouldn't go higher than 17" on an Alero But as for the rest of the car it looks really nice , one question though... how do you open the doors? |
