Alero Springs

I was thinking today, would the V6 front springs be differnt than the 4 cyl frontsprings on the alero to deal with the differnt wieght of the motors? And if so if you put 4 cyl on the V6 would that lower the front of the car?

When you work in a chinese restraunt and dont ahve any f-ing idea what there saying half the time you tend to over think alot of things.
Well my trucks springs are like that. And i have the 4 banger anyways. So i was just wondering if it was like that. And yeah grim i know, thats all i would ever do for springs, no cutting no nothing funny just new ones.

then why did you make this post

I don't get why you guys are razzing him so bad about a legitimate question. The three engines the Alero has weigh differently. If there's only one set of springs for all Aleros, then the one with the V6 will have a lower front end than the ones with the I4. He just wanted to know if there were springs made for the different applications.

They are different for the different engine and trans combos. However if you put 4-cylinder springs in a V6 you might get a bouncier ride too.. Not just lowering.

Alero2k4 08-06-2007 08:56 PM

Are they different? No. Should they be? Yes.
