new to here
hey people,
yesterday I bought me a 2000 alero with 220k (km) on it I havent had a chance to get any pictures of it yet because the girlfriend killed the batterys on the camera lol. I picked her up for $400 and only needs $100 worth of work for it to be legal on the road ( we have inspection to pass in my neck of the woods ) she is a 2 door 5 speed 2.4L color red. does anyone know the paint name of what the reds are? I tried looking on the forum but couldnt find any stickies with the info. I use to own a 2001 olds aurora but the 4th let go on me and I had to let it go, I come from the Aurora forums so I know ill know at least one guy on here from here |

Welcome to the site man and congrats on your purchase. As for the color there were two reds offered for the 2000 model year. So you either have Bright Red or Ruby Red.
|
im guessing yours is ruby so I would go with bright red. I need to know for the paint matching on the few surface rust area ( none are thru just surface areas ) and thanks!
|
Welcome. And I'll go ahead and say it. CLEAR YOUR CORNERS!!! :D

Yea man mine is Ruby Red. You can find the paint code for your car on the spare tire cover though to match it up with the paint you would need from your local auto parts store. |
